Invsify vs Scripbox: the short answer
Choose Scripbox if you are starting with a small amount and want funds picked for you at no upfront fee. Choose Invsify if you want fee-only advice across your whole financial life for a fixed ₹8,999 a year.
Both are SEBI registered investment advisers, and both work through an app. The real difference is how each is paid.
Scripbox earns in two ways. On its Regular plan you pay no fee, and Scripbox earns commission from the fund houses through regular plans of mutual funds. On its Direct plan, for portfolios above ₹50 lakh, it charges from 0.8% of the portfolio a year plus GST.
Invsify earns only from you. Invsify Private is ₹8,999 a year, fixed, whatever the size of your portfolio, and we take no commission on anything we advise.

Which is the best robo advisor for beginners in India?
For a beginner, the best app-based adviser is one that is SEBI registered, says plainly how it is paid, and costs least for the amount you actually have. Between these two, the answer changes with the size of your portfolio.
A regular plan costs more each year than the direct plan of the same fund. That gap, usually somewhere around 0.5% to 1% a year for equity funds, is how the distributor is paid. On a small portfolio it comes to little in rupees.
| Portfolio | Regular plan cost, at 0.5% to 1% a year | Invsify Private |
|---|---|---|
| ₹5 lakh | ₹2,500 to ₹5,000 | ₹8,999 |
| ₹10 lakh | ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 | ₹8,999 |
| ₹25 lakh | ₹12,500 to ₹25,000 | ₹8,999 |
| ₹50 lakh | ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 | ₹8,999 |
With ₹5 lakh, Scripbox's Regular plan usually costs you less. Somewhere between ₹10 and ₹20 lakh the two cross, and above that a fixed fee costs less every year. The gap compounds, because the commission is taken from your returns each year.
Above ₹50 lakh, Scripbox's Direct plan removes the commission and charges a fee instead. At 0.8% plus GST, a ₹1 crore portfolio pays about ₹94,400 a year, against Invsify Private's ₹8,999.

When Scripbox is the better pick
- You are starting small. With a few lakh, its Regular plan costs less in rupees than our fixed fee.
- You only want funds chosen for you. If you do not need help with insurance, tax or other goals, you are paying us for advice you will not use.
- You want a long record. Scripbox says it has been running since 2012. Invsify was incorporated in 2025.
- You want PMS or SIF products from the same place. Scripbox offers them. We do not sell any product.
When Invsify is the better pick
- Your portfolio is past roughly ₹15 lakh. A fixed ₹8,999 costs less than a percentage, and it does not rise as you save.
- You want advice that no product pays for. We take no commissions, so nothing we recommend earns us more.
- You already own investments. We work with what you have, across stocks, funds, deposits and bonds, rather than asking you to move it.
- You want one plan for everything. Goals, investments, insurance and tax together, with an advisor you can talk to.
